I am a new "user" with a 2 1/2 year old laptop - Aspire 5733Z.  Where can I get the files that make up the Acer Indenty card, E-back-up, etc. to reload to my laptop?

If you mean the actual programs or apps that was originally installed with your laptop, you will need to go to Acer's support site for your region. Click on drivers & manuals, enter your model and click on the driver or applications tab.
