Okay, the subject of this post basically says it all. I am wondering what standards (SD, SDHC, SDXC) the SD slot in this model of computer supports, since I am thinking of ordering a SDHC card to go in the slot as my "PageFile" drive.

I have all the documentation that came with the computer (what little there is) and I cannot figure out which standards the slot supports and which it doesn't.

Even the guys from Newegg (where I got this computer from) were not able to answer me on this.

Yeah, those are the same things that I found. I wish they were more clear on this in the specifications because an SDHC plugged into an SD-only slot will not work or be damaged by simply being plugged into the SD-only slot.

Thinking about contating Acer directly about this, however they make it a royal pain to get support for these computers. That is not a bash on Acer specifically, it seems that all OEM's from HP to Toshiba are doing this as well.

There needs to be much more documentation, including documentation on how to replace specific parts or get to specific parts in the chassis. Thankfully, someone put up a disassembly video for E5-571 computers in general so that is taken care of.
