I booked my Acer laptop in for a repair under warranty on a 26th august 2013,
after 10 days i called for a repair update only to be told my laptop wasn't in the repair center I called ,
who confirmed delivery to acer on the 27th august . I called acer back and was asked to "give it 2 working days
to (escalate the case) which I did.
After 2 days i called the repair center again and was told I would have my laptop back within 7 days, after 10 days had passed
I still didn't have my laptop and decided to call the repair enter again this time I was told again that ups
hadn't delivered my laptop to acer again , an Acer employee decided to call ups again only to be told
that they had indeed delivered to acer for repair,i then spoke to an acer manager who asked me to give
them another 2 days to escalate the case repair, 3 weeks has passed and I still haven't received my laptop,
I am extremely dis-satisfied with the level of service I have received so far, this is the third time I have returned this laptop ith the same fault
the acer repair center definitely received my laptop
(I have the tracking number from UPS)
I would be obliged if someone from Acer would contact me to help resolve this matter.

You go man ! Bite that leg and dont let go until they give you back your toy! I also am experiencing some nerve-racking interactions with the repair shop and customer service regarding what should be a simple power issue with my two-month old Aspire S3.

peterduffy21,
I sent my Aspire S3 in (had to pay UPS shipping & insurance cost $26) to the repair facility at Temple Texas, per Acer Support direction. Long story but I got it back in the same unserviceable condition that I sent it in although they claimed to have changed power cord, which they did not.
Customer service on the other hand seems to be located several oceans away in India or Pakistan. Chatting or talking to them is like putting my tongue into a fishbowl full of pyranhas.

peterduffy,
Warranty rules must be different in Scotland. I had to prepay UPS shipping myself as well as shipping insurance. As to Delhi call centre, god bless the Wealthy Oriental Gentlemen ! ![]()

Yes, Acer repair center is in fact in Texas, USA.
I'd better not say any more about Kootrapali and his mates; it only makes my blood pressure rise.
