Hello,
I'm suffering from a rather frustrating problem with my Aspire V3 772G laptop. (i7, Nvidia Geforce 750M) When I play certain games, I get a BSOD telling me that I suffered from a crash caused by "driver_irql_not_less_or_equal igdkmd.sys". I'm fairly certain this is caused by out-dated Intel graphics drivers. However, the latest generic drivers from Intel's website apparently aren't compatible with the Intel Graphics on my Acer laptop. I downloaded the available VGA update from Acer's driver catalogue, but that did nothing to help. I also updated the drivers for the Nvidia graphics card. It seems that I need to properly update the integrated GPU graphics drivers in order to solve this issue. But I obviously can't, since Acer has not provided them.
Any suggestions?
Thanks in advance,
Atramentar
Edit: To further clarify, I have Intel HD Graphics 4600, with the currently installed driver being 10.18.10.3277. The latest driver on Intel's website is 15.33.8.64.3345.

We can only suggest the drivers that have been approved and uploaded to our support site. This notebook comes with Nvidia Optimus Technology and has the option to select your preferred graphics processor when playing games or using other software.
I would suggest reviewing our article How to change NVIDIA Optimus graphics settings, and then take the Intel graphics out of the equation by setting the Nvidia graphics to all the settings and as your preferred graphics card.
If you are still having some problems, this could be related to the game you are playing and not being compatible with the Optimus Technology.
I hope the above suggestion can help with the current issue and if not maybe another community member may be able to provide a resolution if they have experienced the same problem.
