Hello,
I've got an acer aspire v5 572g.
I bought an msata SSD and put windows 8 on it. I want to boot automatically on the SSD but the boot order doesn't "obey". I put my SSD in 1st position in the BIOS and my HDD in last position ( i still have W8 on the hdd, i want to keep it). I don't know why the boot sequence always prioritize the HDD. When i press F12 on boot, i can see that the HSS is 0 and the SS is 1. The priority won't work.
Help me please!

Hi fullkenely,
I would like to ask why you are keeping the HDD in its original configuration? If you remove the HDD itself and leave just the SSD connected are you able to boot?
The problem could be that both HDDs are using the same operating system or it could be how the drive is formatted and if the HDD was formatted as drive 0 then that may be why it boots first even when you change the priority. I am unaware of any limitation or what could cause the system to ignore the boot priority order other then maybe how the drives are formatted.
