hi
I recently update my bios to 2.14 on my acer aspire v3-551 and now im having serious overheating problem (95 celcius and more).before i was using 2.13 and everything was fine.
i check my heatsink and there no dust in it.
it look like the fan managent in 2.14 are bad because the fan only start around 60 (before 50) and nerver go faster
now im working with an external fan and he stay under 60 celcius
there is a plannified update (2.15) because we cant downgrade acer bios and i cannot work or play without my external fan.

I would suggest contacting your local Acer service center to assist with reflashing the BIOS.

Did you get a chance to solve this problem? I have the same model and the overheating issues started around the same time I updated BIOS. Happens mostly when I watch streamed videos (Netflix, etc...).
