Gave this a google and found nothing of use. Sooo i'll ask the question ![]()
Aspire One 532h-2807
This little thing worked fine n dandy and one day i pluged something into the USB port that provides 12V power (Had a wire backwards for a project i was doing) So now the laptop wont turn on.
Where can i look to try and fix this on the board? Im thinking its a fuse or some type of thing i can replace and revive this little guy. It's been about 2 years since iv done this so cant remember if it was the dual USB ports on the left side, or the single on the right side.

I have never ran into a situation where someone supplied 12 volts to the USB port on a laptop.I'm guessing it didn't do the motherboard any good.I would start by pulling the motherboard and inspecting it for fried components.

Was connecting to to program a radio, Had a wire touching another pin that supplied 12v power from the radio to turn on an accessory.
As soon as the radio powered up the laptop went ka put.. That was the moment i knew i made a bew bew
The MB is cheap. Unless someone knows of what place to look on the board it just may be a more simple thing to grab a new one
