Hi, I am new, I do not know where to post this effectively. My aspire v5 122p 0864 will not boot. The Acer logo just stays n the screen, nothing else. I do not know what to do! I held the power for 60 seconds, this is the best it will do! Help please

Yes, thank you Jack, for responding. I figured it out. I have windows 8.1 and installed comodo, apparently this is a big no no. I kept getting the black screen- even after 3 battery resets. Took comodo off, and everything went back to normal. It was comodo.
