Updating Aspire V3-571G operating system to Windows 8.1 changed the wi-fi driver. The system windows 7 x64 wi-fi drivers were Antheros. With them were bluetooth without problems. Windows 8.1 has changed the Broadcom drivers. And with them disappeared bluetooth operation.
Please help me

I'm looking at the Windows 8.1 drivers for this unit on the Acer drivers site and it shows Atheros for the Wireless and Bluetooth. When you select your unit in the list, you have to change the drop down box to Windows 8.1.

Try JC's solution first. If that doesn't work, you need to realize that when you upgraded from 8 to 8.1, you deleted all your drivers. Make sure that you are set to allow Windows updates and new drivers automatically. If it doesn't work after a few hours, go to IObit.com and install their free driver locater.
On one of my computers, it found seven drivers that windows had missed. On another, it found none, but two months later found two.
Make sure that you SET A SYSTEM RESTORE POINT before installing any drivers.

I'll try to decide the issue by installing a new operating system w8.1. Then wait until all the automatic updates from Microsoft Download. Then install the driver from acer. :/

hello, the Bluetooth working but is not active in windows 8.1. To activate if you have windows 8.1 installed in uefi, do this when turn on the laptop and Acer logo appears and the circle spinning try to activate by pressing fn+f3. I have the same problem, in my first try I activate the Bluetooth and WiFi no working, in second try working together, good luck
