I'm have the exact same problem as the guy in http://community.acer.com/t5/Notebooks-Netbooks/As
the same computer model and all that. Does anyone know how to solve this without formatting the whole computer? Since that thread was made half a year ago there should be a fix, right? Any help is much appreciated.

Do you have the latest BIOS and all of the correct drivers installed?
