Hi there,

 Could anyone tell me how I can solve my issues with my aspire one ZG5.  The problem is that I opened the computer to check the ram and after I closed it back again (without doing any changes) and I when I powered it on I saw that almost the half of the desktop was dark.. and I opened and closed again and suddenly it was back to normal.. but it went back to half dark desktop again the next time I turned the computer on.. So, I have been opening and closing the computer I don't know how many times.. and this time I also have the touchpad NOT working .. Please let me know if you have any idea how to fix these problems. I would appreciate any answer regarding my issues.

For the touchpad, try the Fn+F7 toggle combination.

For the display, probably just need to re-seat the ribbon cable connectors at the screen and/or MB connection. You'll have to remove the screen bezel and keyboard to re-seat these connectors.
