Just bought an Aspire E5-571, but the wifi keeps cutting out, like 4-5 times a night. It's definitely the computer, as nothing else on the network is losing connection. Toggling the wifi off and on again fixes it temperarily.
I tried re installing the drivers for the wifi adapter, but it didn't help.
Do I just have a bad wifi adapter?
Any ideas?
Thanks

Hi..
Is your computer shipped with windows 7 or 8.1?
Please check the WiFi driver version in device manager?
Also, check the driver version listed in system informaion.

Hi
Thanks for the reply.
It's windows 8.1
I downloaded the wifi driver from Acer's site. It was the same version as was already installed though.

Thanks again for the response
My model is now e5-521. I exchanged the laptop at the store.
Chatting with an Acer rep, my bios is up to date for that model.
We completly removed McAfee from the laptop. We'll see if that helps.
