I have not been able to identify the part no. or type for the F key hinge on the E1-572. The various sites that provide replacements don't seem to have the info for this notebook yet. I would appreciate it if someone could point me in the right direction.

Thanks for the quick reply. However, the closest type there, AC79, does not resemble the parts I have, see the attached photo. My parts appear to resemble the AC31 hinge here http://www.laptopkey.com/HingesKeys.php/Acer/AC31  I'm tempted to order the AC31 but would like some confirmation they will work.

Is that not the AC79 Small key from the link that I sent you? Frankly I"m almost 100% positive that it is.

After contacting Acer support (they only replace keyboards), a local warranty repair shop, and an initial failed contact with Laptopkey.com, Laptopkey.com had me send them pictures of the parts and the keyboard. They quickly replied and added a new selection on their key finder for the E1-572. I just received the AC66 style parts and they are the correct replacements.
