Hi,

I searched the knowledge base and couldn't find an answer to my problem. First off I followed a real good common idea (sarcasm) and used to wait near 15-20% of my battery to start charging it so now it doesn't retain much power. After that, my second hdd had some problem and caused my computer to not start so I had to remove it. Now for my laptop to charge, the power cable need to be placed a certain way if I want my laptop to be charged or it just won't charge at all which kinda sucks. It started to gradually be harder and harder to make it work and it's on the verge of not working anymore since it takes me around 30-60minutes to figure out how to make it work.

Sounds like the power jack needs to be replaced. http://www.uspcparts.com/acer-aspire-7745g-dc-power-jackconnector-p-61830.html
