When I try to double click on my touchpad, it acts like I was left clicking. What can I do or why is it doing that?
I usually don't use the TouchPad. I have a wireless mouse, that won't double right click either. I can't seem to find out what is wrong...Can someone PLEASE help me?

Hi Carol97411
In your System Tray (where the little icons are, next to the time/date - bottom left) find your touch pad icon. It may be hidden, so click the arrow by the side of them.
Once you've found it, right click & select "Pointing Device Properties" (or similar). A Window will open. Check that the "Buttons" tab the correct hand is selected - usually the "Right Handed" option. Click "Apply/OK". Your touch pad should now work correctly.
If you still have problems, post back.....

Right side double click on "Touch pad" still does not work!!!!
OK..went to the touch pad icon in system tray like you said. Cliced on "buttons" tab. This is what it says:
Left button .....click
Right button.......double click
Both buttons....... auto scroll (I don't know what this mean or what to set it at so I just left it)
So I left it and clicked "apply/ok"
There is a multitouch-gestures tab there......what should it be set at? Right now there are check marks after each one.
So now what?

The best thing to do is to reset the touch pad settings. Go to to the properties (as before) and click the Device Settings tab. Click "Settings" then click "Defaults"
Your pad should now work properly.

OK...I went to (mouse properities) like before. I don't have a "device settings" tab. I have these tabs:
gestures,mult-touch gestures,others, USB mouse connection, Buttons, Pointers,Options,Orientation, Hardware,Tapping.
They all have a "default" button I think. Last time you had me go to "BUTTONS TAB". Is this where you want me to go and click on "DEFAULT"?????
I'm really appreciating all your help.

Hi Carol
Yes, reset all your mouse/touch pad properties to their original values. The should allow it to work correctly.
