Hello,
I am getting trouble with my Acer Aspire V3 731G (windows8 64bit). The fan speed does not respond to my 630M GPU's temperature but only to CPU's (and maybe intel integrated GPU's ?). This causes extreme nvidia GPU overheat while gaming until it shuts the computer down.
I have been looking for workarounds but could only find the tool from this page (that doesn't seem to be designed for my model) and a modded BIOS on bios-mods.com that is a modded 1.13 version (while mine is Insyde rev 3.7). Could I get some help before my PC dies out burning please ?

Not all systems allow you to adjust the fan speed. If there is not an option in the BIOS, then the system does not support this feature.
If you are experiencing thermal issues with the system, you can try making sure the exhaust vents are not clogged and you can even blow the system out with compressed air to make sure there is not excess dust in the system.
If you are still having problems with the system shutting down, I would suggest contacting technical support in your region to inquire about repair options.
