As the title suggest.
My machine has overheated and recently the GPU gave up. Either the chip has burnt out or more probably has become detached from the board due to poor soldering (had the same problem on a HP machine), either way I have pulled it apart and am considering replacing the board.
My question is relating to the replacement boards that you purchase and if they come with GPU/CPU ready to go. Also, if there is anything I need from the old board to complete the installation - I already anticipate using a new BIOS battery to save time opening the machine again if the old battery were to die; which is more than likely!
Thanks
