I have a acer aspire 5560-sb653 and the apu doesn't seem to work propperly anymore. When i play a game or have chrome open and while loading it flips the image and it displays all sorts of colored lines going every direction. After some more time it ends up freezing and shutting down by itsself. I have looked up online, i have a amd a6-3400 1.4GHz with amd radeon hd 6520g 512mb and a new apu just like that is cheap on amazon. But i also found another apu a amd a8-35000m 1.5GHz with amd radeon hd 6620g. Both apu's are a fs1 socket and on this laptop the apu is not sottered in. Does the thermal paste that has been there the whole time i have had the laptop not be transfering the heat over anymore? Would getting the a8 give better performance while playing games? Or should i just stick with the original one it has?

We cannot suggest trying another processor as we have only tested this unit as it was shipped with the A6-3400. But I can suggest you trying to see if this is driver related. Visit our support website and download the latest drivers for your notebook and your version of Windows installed.
If updating your driver does not resolve the issue and as as a last resort, please try reloading your Acer computer as it could be software related.
