Laptop is useless without Wi-Fi adapter that cannot be turned on. TravelMate 4403 shipped with WinXP 32-bit. Now have Win7 Home Premium 64-bit. Cannot turn on Wi-Fi adapter. Acer is no help.

I can't see your model 4403 on Acer download site. Have you tried an XP 32bit version?
If that fails try a 64bit version for Win7 (try and find a hardware match - it may or may not make a difference).

You could give this a try. It's 64bit Win7 Broadcom:

If you can't find a driver, it's always worth trying OEMs site for your particular card.

I don't need the Broadcom Driver, I need the LaunchManager 64-bit application so I can turn it on.
