Hello,

    My Acer s3 one day just decided to no longer show thumbnails of my gallery pictures and Its quite a hassle. Can anyone please help me?

Go to your picture gallery folder. Click "view" on the menu. Choose medium icons.

Hello,

   Thank you for your response...however, that is not the issue. To be more specific. All of the thumbnails aren't showing up of the ACTUAL picture but just some stock image so I can't see what any of the images are.

OK. So let me better understand the issue.

When you open the picture folder with Explorer, all the files have the same stock placeholder image whether the "view" is set to medium, large or extra large icons. Is this correct? Or are you opening the picture folder with a program other than Explorer?

You are correct! When I open my regular "pictures" folder its all those stock icons of a lake or something. The actual photo thumbnails no longer show. This just started happening and my warranty is no longer so they wont help me!

OK. Next try this simple test. From Explorer, right click and copy one of the picture files from the picture folder. Then right click and paste it on your desktop. Now what does the file look like on your desktop?
