Acer aspire 5742 keep restating at boot screen

i bought my aspire 2 years back and didnt face any problems ever since bt now after battery lost its capacity. i didnt buy new battery bt keep using the same one nd during power faillure my lappy wud just shut down automatically. once during such power failure the lappy shut down nd didnt start afterwards at all. it keeps restaring just at acer bios screen. even f2 nd alt+f10 didnt wrk m stuck wid a dead lappy please help me.i hVE CHCeckd my connction even hdd nd dvd rom are in place, Ram is fine. I THINK MY BIOS IS CORRUPRT. PLEASE HELP ME REINSTALL THE BIOS
