Hi all. I just got a V3-772g for my son, with the following configuration:
Windows 8.1, i5-4200m Haswell, Nvidia GTX-760m, 17.3 " FHD, 8 GB DDR3L, 1 TB HD w/ 60 GB SSD.
He is using it for moderate gaming and school work, and is quite happy with it.
My question is, if in the future he would like a more powerful CPU, can this model accept an i7 Quad Haswell CPU using its current motherboard? Will this be a straightforward process (unplug the old and plug the new CPU in) or are there specialized concerns involved?
Would appreciate any and all inputs, happy Acer-ing all!

I don't think there will be any problems except the fact that you need to disassemble completely to access the CPU.
