I need to talk to ANYONE at ACER and I can't get to a real person. My Laptop was stolen, I need the serial number for a police report. BUT...ACER won't let me talk to a real person without a serial number. Somebody help me with a phone number or email of a real person or a serial number to get me past the gatekeeper?

Did you register the unit with its serial number when you got it?

I don't know for sure, that's why I need to speak to someone, so they can check by my email or phone number. The effort I have to put in to speak to a live representative of this company is just pitiful.

I have to agree with you & Gateway has been equally "unhelpfull." Both of them played the pointing fingers game(daisy chain) denying me any help or support, sending to Microsoft, who sends back to where I started. This continued until all warranties expired, at which time I was quoted $99.00 US for a single answer or $150.00+ for 1 yr. support on all products. Of course I declined, after no support under warranty why expect any difference?
