Hello All.

My Acer laptop would not reboot, so I had to restore to factory settings. Now I would like to restore my document files from backups that I did using Acer Backup Manager. However, because the drive was restored to factory settings, the software doesn't know that the backup files exist. It wants me to create a new backup.

How can I tell Acer Backup Manager to restore from these backups created before the restore to factory settings?

Follow these steps to sync your data:

Place your USB drive into the computer with Backup Manager installed. It will detect the files and allow them to be syned with that computer.

Click YES to get started.

Select the Backup Job to Sync and then click Next.

Select the types of files you wish to syn, and then click Next.

The backup process will start and copy the files to the computer.

Thanks for the reply. For some reason the Backup Manager doesn't detect the inserted drive either with the software open or not. Is there a way to do this process manually, perhaps a command line switch or something?
