When I run a live updater, it doesn't seem to pick up any updates. But when I run other 3rd party softwares I'm informed that there are several drivers including Nvdia that are out of date. Please advice.

I have a similar issue - my Acer Updater program runs once a day, but has never found anything in the few years I have had this PC. Come to think of it, neither as the updater on my laptop!

I think it is mainly for updates to the programs/BIOS/apps on the support website. Other programs, as you suggest are not found.

I use a third party updater from Filehippo, which is pretty good. I'm sure, if there was anything important, Acer would want us to know through the Live Updater program!
