Hello,
I have recently purchased a notebook Acer Aspire V5-472PG. It comes with a touchscreen.
In the beginning my touchscreen was working perfecly. But then something happened - and it just stopped suddenly. I thought that this is because my Windows 8 recently updated itself. I started to search for Touchscreen drivers and I couldn't find. Also restarts didn't help and switching off and on HID device.
So i decided to restore the PC to the initial condition. The touchscreen started working again!! I switched off all the updates for Windows 8.
But recently for some reason it instaled some updates by itself, and after some time the touchscreen stopped working again...
Please help me solve this!!!
Many thanks in advance,
Anastasia

Hi Anastasia,
you can roll back drivers to an old version:
on device manager, double click the device you want to roll back, on the next window click on Drivers taba nd then click on roll back.
check if this fix your issue.
you can block windows to update hardware drivers and download just OS updates:

Hello IronFly,
thank you very much for your advice!
The option to roll back is inactive, maybe the driver was not updated...
A few minutes ago my touchscreen started working again - i was so happy, but then it suddenly stoped again :-(
Maybe there is another thing to do?
Many thanks in advance,
Anastasia
