This is my second time posting here. I have an Acer Aspire V3-571G pre-loaded with Windows 8, which I later updated to Windows 8.1 with no modifications to the hardware.
Yesterday, I downloaded Bluestacks Android Emulator and used the PC till the battery was flat.
So, when I tried to boot my PC this morning, a blue screen came out with the following text:
Recovery
Your PC needs to be repaired
The Boot Configuration Data File is missing some required information.
File: \BCD
Error code: 0xc000000d
You'll need to use the recovery tools on your installation media. If you don't have any installation media (like a disc or USB device), contact your system administrator or PC manufacturer.
Press Esc for UEFI Firmware Settings
Since the OS was pre-installed, I don't have any installation media with me. I initially thought that it may be a problem with Bluestacks, but a search on Google didn't bring any results, so I thought I'd ask here. Any help will be appreciated.

Have you tried going into the BIOS and loading defaults?
If that doesn't resolve your problem, you would need to call technical support and order recovery disks, or send the computer in for service to have the OS reloaded.
