It seems this has come up before. They closed the thread. I wan to keep this going because I am not exited about my sending out my brand new $1000 computer to Texas to be fixed.
Is there a way to fix this at home?

Could you share the full model number, please - 571? 572G?
Also, what are the first four numbers of your SNID (found on the label inside the Ezel hinge).

Same problem. SNID is 3180****
Drivers are up to date. Is this a windows 8.1 problem or a Network adapter problem?

Here's what I did. I just received my TP-Link external network adapter that plugs into your USB port. Amazon sells it for 19.99. I went from 3 mbs to 11 mbs instantly. I have cable at 15 mbs. It's a cheap fix if you don't want ACER to replace your R7. I'm planning to replace my R7 this month since the intel video card is inadequate for gaming and it won't be an ACER.
