Hey guys I have been having a major issue... My Acer Aspire One 532H crashed the other night and now I have the famous Black Screen of Death... I have done so many different things and nothing has worked for me...
This answer keeps popping up everywhere, but when I hold down the fn + esc, the power light does not blink... I have tried this so many times...

Can anyone provide me with some insight on how to properly get this working on my model aspire one? I am assuming the bios is corrupt and needs to be reflashed with the latest.
Thanks,
Steve

What do you mean by black screen of death?
If your system won't show anything on the screen, it is likely the LCD or motherboard is experiencing a hardware problem.
Do you ever see the Acer screen that prompts you to get into your BIOS?
I would suggest contacting technical support in your region to inquire about setting up repair service, as I don't think it will be an issue you can fix by loading a BIOS or other software fix.

I do not see anything. The computer comes on. thats it...
Google black screen of death and acer and you will see how many cases are out there... 90% of them are fixed by resetting bios...

I see several reports when I google black screen of death, but since several different issues can cause similar symptoms, I can't guarantee any of the fixes will work. If you have tried updating the BIOS and it did not resolve your issue, I recommend contacting Acer in your region to see what repair options are available.
