Acer Aspire 7741G & WIndows 7. All ok for 3 yrs but now audioservices do not work

I have been using an Acer Aspire 7741G & WIndows 7. Everything went fine for  3 yrs  Since yesterday the audioservices do not work. The automatic problem solver says : "one or more audioservices are not installed" Any idea ?  I am only using AVG, Adobe and Microsoft Office 2010 on this laptop. I install all updates from Windows that are offered automatically by MS. Nothing particular changed but I installed itunes recently.  I also installed an electronic ID verifier from the Belgian government required for electronic tax returns.(it is very doubtfull this would be the cause because millions use it out here)

 

Any idea ?

i would try to update the realtek drivers from the manufacter:

select your OS x86 or x64 and choose a download site, then run the installer.

 

if you still have the error, please take a screenshot of it.
