I have an Acer Aspire 5570 that won't do anything when power button is pressed until I unplug ac adapter and remove battery I then have to replace battery and it will power on. Once it is turn off I have to repeat these steps to turn it back on  AC adapter tested at 19v battery is also good.

Sorry to hear that you have to go through all of that to get the system to power on. Have you tried with just the AC adapter plugged in to see if it power on? The system should be able to power on with just the AC adpater as long as there is no problem with the adapter or power board in the computer.

The problem could be with the battery or power board if the adapter is working. If the system powers on with just the AC adpater I would try purchasing a battery first and if that does not fix the problem, then service may be the only solution.
