The system runs the "repair" and cannot fix the problem, when you click on to recover the system it brings up a user id of ACER and requires a password. What is this password??

You can try six zeros as the password "000000". If that does not let you in, then a password has been set and there is not a way to bypass it to use the built in recovery. If six zeros does not let you access the software, I recommned contacting technical support in your region, to inquire about ordering recovery media.
