I have an AOD257 running Windows XP SP3 , but get [Code 10] on network adapter, so I cannot use WiFi.
Does anyone have a driver that works ?
Been searching the internet and tried maybe 50 different drivers, still no success.
Broadcom.com site is of no help.

Hi..
The XP drivers are not avaiable for this computer in Acer website. In this case, you may try installing the XP driver from Broadcom website. Search in this Link

The model number of the wireless card installed on this computer is Broadcom 4313.

Hi MOne
It looks as if the adaptor may have failed. The only suggestions I have for you are:
1. Backup & reinstall Windows. If this fails to make any difference, then the adaptor is at fault
2. Take it to your local PC store, who may be able to replace it for you

HOW I FIXED MY WindowsXP Driver issue
I just went and bought
Intel Centrino Wireless N-100 WIFI CARD 100BNHMW and replaced the Broadcom that came with the AOD257 , bought it here
http://www.ebay.com/itm/181273029124
My wireless is now running OK after I downloaded the Intel driver and installed
Driver link for the Intel network card is : http://downloadmirror.intel.com/22785/eng/Wireless
-------------------
After I had it working, I found a link to drivers for the Broadcom, since I already took out the broadcom network card, I'm not able to test the driver from the link, but others can try, the link has many Windows XP drivers for AOD257 netbook peripherals,
Here is said link: http://laptop-driver.blogspot.com/2011/10/acer-asp
So people that dont want the Windows7 can still enjoy their AOD257 with Windows XP.
