Hi,

I've got a new router, which supports the new 802.11ac Wifi standard. So I wonder if i can upgrade my Wifi-Card in my Aspire 5755g-2454G50Mtks? Is there a list available for the support of Wifi cards? Or how can I check if a new one works with the mainboard/antenna thats in the Aspire?

Hey, 

thanks, but it seems that the 5755g has the Intel HM65 Express chipset. And it looks like it only supports 802.11n. But at least there are some options to enhance the build-in Intel Centrino Advanced-N 6205 card to Intel Centrino Ultimate-N 6300 or Intel Centrino Advanced-N + WiMAX 6250 which have a broader range or  even a 450Mbits support.

Does anyone have experience with the latter two cards or the 802.11ac card that philetus had posted?
