can you replace the cover/door or do i got to replace the whole thing. also do you got a reccomended 1 terabyte hard drive. i got 8 gigabytes of RAM and Windows 8.1 pro fully upgraded in windows updates already upgraded.

You need to replace the whole part that includes the door and the CD drive unit.

As per specification details this model supports hard disk size of 160/250/320/500/640/750 GB or larger hard disk drive
