web cam driver acer aspire e5-571 win 8.1

I recently bought this pc but i can't find a webcam driver for it. The webcam works but the quality of the picture is really bad. It looks like a old tv from the 80's. A lot of noise in the picture. The camera uses an old generic microsoft driver and i haven't been able to find a better driver anywhere. Could somone help me to find a driver?

Does it show in Device Manager? If so , uninstall whatever driver is there, reboot and let Windows load a generic driver.
I'm thinking you bought it with 8.1 and don't know if it was working in 8.0?
You can also try this. It's for Windows 7. Try to install it in Compatibility mode.
As there is no 8.1 driver readily available, this is worth a try.
