how to fix Laptop acer aspire one D257 black screen

How do you overcome notebook Acer Aspire 2257 is a black screen ?

 

I've tried to follow the many tutorials, they are advised to update the BIOS.

I've downloaded 1.15 BIOS file from the official website of Acer.
of many tutorials they use flashit.exe and file type .fd ,


but the file I downloaded no two files that contained the file folder contents dos and windows ZE6_115 only.

What should I do ?

    Options

    First, make sure your screen is turned on with the Fn+F6 toggle key combination. If still no screen, then try to HDMI out to an external TV --- you may have to turn the screen on with the Fn+F5 combination. Report back. Jack E/NJ
