    Hello,

You wrote: "Some of my keyboard keys quit working."

Is it the function keys: [Fn], [F1], [F2] etc

that is the only keys that type, so you can see whats missing. And the enter key dont work either. dont know about the function keys. I have been trying to type documents and its a real pain. Hope this answers your question.

    Hello,

Which windows version do you have exactly?

    1- Windows 7 32 bit

    2- Windows 7 64 bit

    3- Windows 8 32 bit

    4- Windows 8 64 bit

yes. used to be able to hit the blue Fn key + the up or down arrow keys to adjust volume. now nothing happens. Iam thinking its corrupted files ordrivers. dont know how to fix this. havn't had any formal type of computer training. taught myself.

I also don't believe the function keys across the top are working because i am unable to start up in safe mode. have already tried setting back to factory install but still have same issues

    Hello,

    Test:

Do you have access to the bios setup utility?

    1- Start your laptop

2- Press [F2] when you see the Acer screen in startup.

    3- Exit without saving
