I would like to add a secod ssddrive to my acer aspire m3-581tg, which already has a 128 gig ssd. When I try to install the new ssd, the new one comes up as the only disk-drive .

Has anyone tried this before ?

Hi ivers - 4 years on, were you successful? I have the same issue! I struggle to access the BIOS when I connect the SSD (2.5 inch - SATA) and
when I do (by changing from Legacy, if I'm recalling rightly) I can no longer see the mSATA drive (Toshiba 128GB). If would appear that the mSATA is/becomes the slave drive when the SATA SSD is connected. I would have thought that I should be able to see both in the BIOS and prioritise Windows 10 to boot from the mSATA? I could clone everything to the SATA SSD so that W10 boots from there, but I just want it for additional storage. Struggling to find any guidance on this issue.

Hopefully you'll get an email prompt.

    Thanks.
