Touchpad driving me crazy

I have Intel i5 4210U, windows 8.1 64bit. It's e5-571p-59qa laptop I got from microsoft store

I ordered this laptop around mid december last year but the touchpad stopped working 2 days after that. So I sent it to Acer Tech and had it fixed. I got it back around a week ago.

Today afternoon, it stopped working AGAIN!

This is how it happened. When I open laptop, turn it on, the cursor is there in the middle. However, when I touch the screen(touchscreen btw), the cursor disappeared.
