Screen Quality

Hello everyone i Just received my Manufacturer Refurbished Acer 2.16Ghz Dual Core 11.6 Laptop (ES1-111M-C7DE) from groupon. On the outside everything looks good, the computer runs just fine but i noticed something with the screen, It is not all crystal clear, How can i explain it, It looks as if the plastic or whatever material the screen is made of, is not fully clear, it looks like as if it had dust or something, I dont know how to explain it, Have you ever put on a dirty or greasy screen protector on your phone and for example when you put on a white screen on it you can see that it is not fully clear? Thats the best way to describe it, Is this normal or is there something wrong with my screen? It is barely noticable when in any other colors, Only noticable in white color, as if my screen was greasy from the inside.

Sounds like there might be something wrong with the screen. I would return it.No sense trying to deal with it on a "new" computer.

Yea i have emailed groupon to see how i can send the laptop back, i am definately not happy with the quality of the screen, i dont know if its a factory defect or just is that way. I know its a cheap laptop but the screen material as to be clear in my opinion. And just to know, it is on the entire screen evenly, its not just on some areas of the screen, its as if the material of the screen glass or whatever it is, is not clear but grainy.

So i have done some research as to why my screen seems grainy or greasy, I found out that matte screens are better at observing outside light and reducing glare, wether glossy screens look clear but release more of a reflection. So if i am correct, my model laptop the acer aspire ES1-111M-C7DE has a matte screen and not glossy? Can someone please correct me if i am wrong or confirm if i am right?
