Hi,

I recently (3 weeks ago) purchased an Acer e15 start ES1-512-C5YW laptop. It was working fine until this morning when I found it wasn't turning on, instead an orange led was flashing indicating it needed charging. So, i pluged the laptop in for 30 minutes and then turned it on; However the battery level was at 0% and as soon as I unpluged it from the mains, it turned off. This is my first acer laptop and I've had several headaches because of it and now i'm fed-up: Not buying an acer again!

Anyway is there anyway to fix this issue?

    SayedHB,

Try to perform a power reset for me.

Remove the charging adapter. On the bottom of the notebook in the middle you will see a little pinhole, that is were you will need to push in with a paperclip to disconnect the internal battery while pressing the power button for around like 15 seconds or so. Once done, plug back in and see if it will power on for you.
