you must a habe a little Bluetooth USB dongle with the mouse, put it on an USB port and wait until drivers will be installed, then you can connect the mouse to the Bluetooth USB dongle and use it as mouse.

Yes, so you can try pairing without the USB BT dongle, if you have windows 7:

I'm really confused now. My PC says it has built in Bluetooth, has a function key to turn it on and off, has the driver, but I can't seem to connect the mouse to it. It also doesn't have any settings for the Bluetooth as far as I know.

Connect it using the BT USB dongle, check if mouse works with it.

But that doesn't make any sense though. If I had the usb dongle, I'd be able to use the mouse with my other pc that doesn't have Bluetooth, I'd be able to use it with any pc. And the point of buying the mouse was so that I didn't have to take up my USB ports. I have 2 wireless mice if I wanted to do that. Also, why would my computer say it has built in b.t. And have a function key to turn it on and off if it didn't have it built in? This is frustrating! ......stupid pc.....

it's not stupid, it's simply a check on mouse, to see if it works with its BT USB dongle.

if mouse works, you must check about BT standard compatibility or try to update BT drivers on your Aspire.

can you post your Aspire model number?

It didn't come with a usb dongle. Is it supposed to? I bought it used. I did update the driver though. Is there any reason why the mouse wouldn't work? It turns on and blinks red and blue when pairing. Is there any reason it wouldn't send a signal or something?

    BT has various versions, specifications:

The Acer bluetooth drivers has any software suite to manage bluetooth connections?

Are you able to start pairing on your Aspire One?

The only thing I can find is the "Devices and Printers" I can't find anything to control the Bluetooth devices or the settings for it.

When I use the function key to try to turn on the Bluetooth, a window pops up saying "no device". Nothing shows up near the clock.

Have you already re-installed Bluetooth drivers?

    sorry if i already asked.

    http://us.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/drivers/1854;-;AO532h

select your OS and download bluetooth drivers and install.

by the way another user found that BT module is missing from the same model:

    http://community.acer.com/t5/Notebooks-Netbooks/Does-the-Acer-Aspire-One-Model-AO532h-have-a-bluetooth-adapter/td-p/239452

i can confirm that not all AO532h has BT module, yours is one of that; so no BT module.
