Internal Battery Care

Hi all, I have a question regarding internal battery care. I have seen other people pointing to posts on battery care but unfortunately they pertain to removable batteries. Question is, what is the best way to take care of an internal battery? I mainly work at my desk with the computer plugged in, Before, I would remove the battery. Now that the battery is internal, I can not. Do I leave it plug the entire time? Or should I unplug it once the battery is fully charged? Thanks!

    Callisto,

Batteries have come quite a ways over the years. There shouldn't be any problems leaving the battery plugged in all the time, there are certain features included with systems now that help keep the battery working to it's maximum potential.

Systems at this level should keep the battery trickel charged.

THE key thing to know is that for long-term storage Lithium-ION batteries are best stored half full.

And unlike the old days in rechargabeles its not good to run then down all the way regularly that will shorten LI batteries.  They do best if you keep them topped off.
