I have an Aspire 5253 laptop it was acting strange so I did an Acer Recovery

in 2015 Archives

After I did the recover and it restarted, it gives the message set up is starting services, but nothing happens.  It is just a black screen.  I tried running the recovery discs but nothing happens.  I am not too tech savvy on computers so any help is really appreciated.  Thanks

    please remove battery and unplug,, hit the start key  rapidly a few times and plug in the cord and than the battery and the start.. GO IN by safe mode either F2 or F10... go to device manager and update your BOIS drivers and look to make sure your network adapter is updated. and than restart.. you may have to do this a few times..

     

    make sure all drivers that have been tagged are updated..RUN antivirus and malware ..

     

    hopefully this will clear the issue,, and it might and it might come back if so let me know..

     

    also.. make sure the system is NOT over heating..
