I have an E1-570 Laptop and I accidently spilt tea over it, the lights came on at first but it is now dead.

I tried changing battery packs after it dried out.

Does anyone have any help on the matter.

Many thanks

Steve

you did the worst thing, turn on a device with liquid inside.

probably there is a short somewhere or even some burnt component, you can't do anything apart sending to a tech to do a check and hope it's fixable.

    Hello Steve,

Unfortunately you'll have to change your keyboard:

    NK.I1713.065KEYBD.104K.BLACK.UK
    NK.I171S.00VKEYBD.104K.BLACK.UK.WIN8

You can request a quote and place an order from your Acer store in using the customer service form.

    In the form:

1- You select in "Please Select a Subject: Other"

2- In "Describe the Problem:", you indicate the S/N of the laptop.

    3- Example:

"Price request for the following spare parts:

         - P/N, description

         - Etc"

You'll receive a quote by mail (pdf document). You can also phone them.

    Laurent,

i think the problem is worst than just a keyboard repair, he said that the laptop is dead after booting on split tea and having no LED light turning on.
