Hi all. Why does interface broadcom 802.11n network adapter, connect to my new laptop on first boot,

I booted up my new laptop, not connecter to lan or wifi, but before i configured basic settings, i noticed an interface , connected, not knowing if this is correct or not, i turned it off again. Windows has not yet been activated, but i got a security warning from windows that access was denied. Please help. Greetings Tony

    Your new notebook out of box should not have the necessary information to connect to your wireless connection, unless you have a modem/router that will push (usually a button press on the modem/router) the connection information automatically to your notebook.
