Cloned HDD to SSD, can I format HDD and still factory reset?

I bought Aspire-V7-582pg, changed the small 20gb cache(SSD) disk to a bigger one and cloned my Windows(from HHD) to it and elevated the SSD in the boot sequence. Everything works great.

But now I wonder if it's safe to format my HDD and still be able to restore my computer to factory settings in the future using my new SSD drive?

The reason I ask is because I cant understand how the clone processed worked out...

Below is my HDD(Disk 0) and the SSD(Disk 1) partitions. The HDD have two partitions marked as "recovery", one is 600 MB and the other one is 20 GB but the SSD only have one marked as recovery(E Smiley Happy ?

I don't want format Disk 0 until I know that Disk 1 will do the job if a restore is needed.

Or can this be done with a USB stick so that I could remove all partitions? Even the ones on Disk 1.

Boot from HDD then start Acer erecovery software and create an USB recovery media.
Probably 16 or 32GB USB flash drive is needed.

Once you created the USB recovery media, you can wipe the HDD.

Remember that only the SSD must be installed when using the UsB recovery media or it will install on the HDD.

But do I really need to boot from HDD before doing it? I mean, the SSD is a clone of my disk, can't I just run acer recovery from my SSD and it would work the same?
