Hi to all,

I have a problem with an Acer V5-552. When I start the machine, the keyboard doesn't work (even to enter the bios - F2).

Windows starts normally, and the mouse is fully functionally, but if i press any key of keyboard, mouse begins to not working. Do you know the causes of the problem?

Thanks a lot.

    Hello,

Do you have the same issue with an USB external keyboard?

No, I have tried with an usb external keyboard, all is ok, all works! In device manager, doesn't appear the integrated keyboard. But if I press any key for only one time (in integrated keyboard), the key doesn't work, and the trackpad start to fail (doesn't work). Thanks for your attention.

1- Have you performed a power reset?

2- Your laptop is it still under warranty?

Problem solved. Inside the laptop there is a BIOS reset button (near the BIOS battery). I pressed the button for some seconds. Then I restart the system and all works.

Thanks another time for the precious support.

Thanks for your feedback. It will be very useful!

The white button: Battery reset switch (I think it's like a Clear CMOS).
