Aspire E11 has quit connecting to wireless router.

My Aspire has quit connecting to the wireless router.  My Kindle connects so I know it's not the router.  I've checked the bluetooth and all drivers are up to date and Windows 8 says everything is working.  The troubleshooter doesn't find any problem with the Bluetooth.  I can connect via a hardwire with no issues.  I've checked the settings and airplane mode is set to allow wireless connection and the Bluetooth is ON.  I'm not sure what else to check.  Is there someway to get the Bluetooth to talk to my router?  Could this be due to a Windows update?

The Bluetootth connection is not what should be connecting to the router, it should be your wireless card that is. If it was working and just suddenly stopped, have you tried a system restore to when it worked? Something simple like a Windows update that did not install correctly could have created this issue.

Will the system restore just reset only Windows back to the date or will it restore everything back to the date?  I had some issues with unwanted programs so I really don't want to get those back.

Did you ever figure this out? When I downloaded Windows 10, I lost use of my bluetooth device. It was annoying. I just updated my computer with Windows update and lost my WIFI. I tried resetting it and lost all my notes and personal settings including Firefox, etc. Did you get help with this?
